NBC
National Broadcasting Company. (1926) This was probably the most popular of the series that showed the lightning bolts. NBC was owned by RCA. They had two networks: Red and Blue. They also had the lesser known White and Orange networks which were dropped. Their flag has a black background with white lettering. $85.00
CBS
Columbia Broadasting System. (1927) Founded by William S. Paley, whose original funding came from his family’s cigar company. CBS was a fierce competitor to NBC. The CBS flag has a black background and white letters. $85.00
MBS
Mutual Broadcasting System. (1934) Formed by joining WGN, WXYZ, WOR, AND WLW stations. The Don Lee Network joined in 1938 from the West Coast. This flag is black with white letters. $85.00
ABC
American Broadcasting Company. (1943) Formed by Life Saver candy creator, Ed Noble, by acquiring the Blue network from NBC. The ABC flag is white with black lettering. $85.00
